We had an absolutely wonderful 3 week vacation at Elements of Aruba. It was the perfect location for us! Easy to travel anywhere in 10 minutes by car (rental car is a must) the apartment was roomy, comfy and obviously well cared for.
Hosts/owners Ineke and Frank were lovely and responsive to our every question. They showed us new places to hike, snorkel, and many local interesting restaurants that we wouldn’t have found on our own.
We loved coming back to the property in the afternoon and relaxing on our porch or reading a book by the pool.
It was sad to leave but we consider Ineke and Frank our friends and we will absolutely be back!”

“Elements of Aruba. First time for us, a visit to Aruba. Friends recommended an apartment and to be honest, a very good recommendation! No regrets at all. This is not what we expected, but in fact it is what we dreamed about.
Of course, the island, the friendly people living there, palm trees, lots of cacti, beaches, swimming, snorkelling, all contributing to a nice holiday, but the apartment and, last but not least, the hostess and the host really made the difference.
To start with, the charming hostess picks you up at the airport, and 15 minutes later you are enjoying a cold beer under the palm trees. And your rental car is waiting for you, next to the apartment. This example of hospitality comes back all during your stay.
Where should you go for the better hikes, the good bars, the quiet beaches, the restaurants. But in case of problems; how to get good medical treatment. They really make your stay a very special one.
The apartment has plenty of space, nice living, good kitchenette, large bedroom, air conditioned. A pretty big veranda, but there are also seats next to a small swimming pool under the palm trees.
The apartment is situated in a quiet environment, and it takes about 10 minutes to the beach (free parking) and 10 minutes to Oranjestad (shopping). Within walking distance there some nice small restaurants.
The compound consists of 3 apartments and the house of the owners, each with its own privacy. We have been there in April, and we will go back in September! All credits for the hostess Ineke and the host Frank; they make your stay in Aruba more then worthwhile.”

“Elements of Aruba could not be a more sublime experience. The hosts, Ineke and Frank, are such lovely people who will make you feel welcomed in their slice of Aruban paradise the instant you set foot on their property.
The space is immaculately designed— very modern and natural, drawing upon colors and motifs found on the island. Both indoors and out are like a zen-ful embrace.
Beyond the intention behind the design, the space offers everything you might need (with a full kitchen and a small pool off the courtyard), and is primely located, a short drive to the beach (everything is truly a short drive, as it is on an island after all) and tucked away from the touristy commotion of Palm Beach.
Above all else, however, my friend and I hugely appreciated the extraordinary hospitality of the owners. They were full of great recommendations and interesting information about Aruba, and just generally prompt and easy to communicate with.
After learning we enjoyed hiking, they invited us to join them on an excursion to a less-trafficked portion of the island, and pointed out various native plants and animals along the way— a highlight of our stay.
I cannot wait to return some day!”

“Elements of Aruba is a gem! It felt like a home away from home. The beauty of the landscape, pool, décor inside and outside of the unit were all splendid!
Ineke offered me airport pick up – a very friendly and warm welcome which meant a lot to me as I was traveling solo on my birthday.
The one bedroom apartment was the perfect size for one or two guests to live comfortably. The bedroom is huge and comfortable as well. Plenty of towels were available.
The unit is within a local community area wherein it’s most beneficial to rent a car which Ineke offered her assistance on that as well. I was able to get a rental at a very reasonable price, roam about the island, and felt very safe coming back in after dark.
Elements of Aruba is definitely one to put at the top your list of Airbnb to check out on Aruba, One Happy Island!”

Elements of Aruba consists of three beautiful spacious apartments with sufficient privacy and a very nice lounge pool. The apartments are fully equipped with everything you need during your holiday (e.g. towels, hair dryer, airco, kitchen equipment etc.), so you can pack light if you travel to this destination.
The apartments are located at small distance from a lot of very nice restaurants and the famous eagle beach. Frank and Ineke as hosts are super friendly and caring towards their guests. They will pick you up from the Airport and help with arranging further transport during your holiday on the Island (car rental).
They remain at your disposal for do’s and don’ts on the Island and can help with any inconvenience that might happen to you during your stay. Frank and Ineke also have a large list of adventurous activities in which they also participate themselves, which are highly recommended.
You can be assured that you won’t have any shortcomings during your stay at Elements of Aruba!”

Elements of Aruba is really good located, but we would recommend to rent a car. Thats not a negative point, quite the reverse! You stay in a calm district and you need only 10 minutes to the airport, to the supermarkets, to Palm Beach or Eagle Beach. It’s perfect!
And you also need a car to explore the island by yourself. Better than all tourist guides which are overcrowded.
Visit Aruba & have the loviest stay at Elements of Aruba. We would definitely like to return ) One happy Island – the words are true.”

“This was our first trip to Aruba, however, we have stayed in various AirBnB’s in the US, Mexico and Europe. Our stay at Elements of Aruba was wonderful, and our hosts were the most sweetest and gracious hosts we have ever encountered, very personable without being intrusive. Communication was quick and they were available whenever needed.
The place was meticulously clean. There was an air conditioner in each bedroom, and a fan if needed. The shower also had a boiler which was nice in order to have a warmer shower, I typically like a hot shower and this worked just fine for me.
We rented a jeep, having Google maps to navigate is a must and was easy to use. We found the rental to be centrally located and everything was just a quick drive away.
On our arrival date we went to Super Food Plaza (great selection of food, FYI, need to bring a bag which we bought a couple cute bags there to take back, but there were some at the rental) and picked up some items for our stay.
It was nice having the jeep, however, next time we’ll probably rent a car, and rent an UTV for the day for the Nationaal park Arikok.
Our hosts also had available a cooler, chairs and snorkel gear for us. As our hosts recommended, pick up a bag of frozen peas when you go snorkeling, it’s like fish food crack! Go early in the morning and you’ll have the place to yourselves.
Favorite places for breakfast was Eduardo’s Beach Shack and One Happy Bowl. Didn’t like Linda’s dutch pancakes, they were burnt and from previous reviews there were similar complaints, the Dutch Pancake house in Aruba was much better, however, I heard Frank can make a pretty mean dutch pancake, hint hint.
For dinner we liked Yemanja, Elements and Madame Janette. Next time I would just get cocktails at Elements and sit out on their beach for the sunset.
We did the Aruba Aloe Museum & Factory, did the tour and loved it. Do this early in your stay and buy your aloe items to use. However, don’t worry if you need a little aloe therapy, Ineke knows just what to do. Our son forgot to put sunscreen on the top of his feet and burned them, Ineke prepped the aloe leaf and applied it to his feet, sweetest gesture of kindness ever!
